The other day my mother and I had a discussion over the idea of women getting breast enhancements.
Why are women getting them? How the heck did they become so popular? Should they be getting them? Are the women who are getting them trying to hide some other deeply rooted insecurity?
Both my mother and I have what are considered small breasts, but neither of us held the same view on the subject.
The “right” boob size can even attract more male attention. She went on to talk about how when she was younger, she really wanted larger breast in order to attract more male attention.
She even mentioned how she considered having it done when she was in her early 20′s. Breasts are like your face, they give off first impressions because they are the first thing someone sees of you.
My father has passed away, so I understand that she may want some attention from the opposite sex and believes that a slightly larger rack might help her get that attention.
It is everyone’s own right to do as they wish to themselves, especially if it will make them happy. I do have an opinion on the subject, however.
It’s their business and every person has their own free will to implement as they see fit. However, I do have an opinion on the idea of breast enhancements in general. I think women’s minds are warped from the time they are young on what beauty is, and as a result, they are always trying to fit in with beauty stipulations society has put on them.
Whatever happened to loving yourself and being content? We can’t all look alike, nor should we want to. That would be painfully boring.
Of course my mother and I agreed to disagree, but I did contemplate a little further on the matter and came to this conclusion. If small breast were the rave then everyone would be trying to get smaller breast.
Whatever happened to “I am woman, hear me roar”? Where did all of the self-confidence go to?
My mother and I eventually agreed to disagree, but I pondered a little further on the topic.
Back when I a sophomore cheerleader in high school, one of the senior cheerleaders made a joke about how I always walk with my chest out. The joke to her was in the fact that
She and the other girls laughed and I even laughed. I laughed because I had never taken note to how I walk.
Honestly, I’ve never had confidence issues in that area of my life. Guys have always chased me and they still do. So I’m not convinced on the argument of it taking big boobs to attract male attention.
If you are of my mother’s persuasion and want your breasts enhanced, try it naturally first before opting for breast enhancement surgery.
Now, if you agree with my mother and want your breasts enhanced, then good for you. As long as you are safe in doing so and happy, that’s all that ever matters. Try some natural methods of toning them and keeping them looking youthful first.
One exercise worth adopting is one where you sit in a chair straight with as perfect posture as possible. Pull your arms up with your elbows bent by your chest and clasp your hands with your palms together touching. Then just push your palms together with pressure and you should feel your breast muscles lifting.
Do that often just for good breast maintenance purposes. Also, moisturize your breasts daily, if you don’t already. I would recommend a good oil such as jojoba oil or almond oil. There are no natural breast enhancement foods, but, if you eat more fruits and vegetables you’ll be healthier over all. If you are going to increase your cup size, you may wish to try breast enhancement supplements.
Finally, imagine or pretend that your breasts are larger. You’ll walk with more confidence and as a result, you’ll attract the attention that you are seeking.
If you are of my persuasion, don’t come down on women who hold a different view. Society is attacking women enough with the idea of perfection. The attacking begins early with little girls.
There are also breast enhancement supplements that can be tried. Finally, imagine your breasts are larger. When you pretend that they are you’ll walk with more confidence and with that, you’ll attract the results you are looking for.
Now if you are on my side on this topic, don’t be upset with women who don’t agree with you. That also goes for anything in life for that manner. Women are pounded on enough as it is beginning at birth.
If this cycle is going to end we have to support each other, uplift each other and catch our little girls before they get caught in the paradigm.
Let’s try another approach, one where we are encouraging of each other.
Remember James Brown’s song, “This is a Man’s World”. There’s one important line women should really take heed to when it says, “This is a man’s world…but would all amount to nothing without a woman or girl”.
It’s true. Ladies, own the goddess that you are and appreciate yourself for who and how you were created.
